"Baltic Nwes Network", 03.03.2012.
Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics (ZRP) has decided to proclaim two Russian citizens – Alexander Dyukov and Vladimir Simindey as undesirable and to include them in the list of persons banned from entering Latvia.
The Minister has taken this decision based on the opinion of competent authorities about undesirable conduct by both individuals detrimental to the Latvian state and its citizens, LETA was informed by the Foreign Ministry’s Department of Press and Information.
As reported, the scandalous historian, director of the public foundation “Historical Memory” Dyukov, this week visited Riga, Latvia, and promised to bring to Latvia the exhibition “Shipped childhood: 1943-1944. Fate of children abducted to Latvia”, sharply criticized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Simindey is a research program leader in the foundation “Historical Memory” and also well known for statements against the Latvian state.
